Chris Phillips
Chris earned his real estate license in 2003 and started out as a residential real estate agent and assistant manager with Century 21. During the financial crisis in 2007, he joined the Blackwood-Warner Group as an asset manager selling REO properties for large institutions including Fannie Mae and Bank of America. When the markets stabilized and new opportunities came about, Chris became the managing broker and director of career development for an independent brokerage, helping it double in size and profitability. In 2016, he joined Keller Williams and became the COO for The Forney Group, putting systems in place to build the top real estate team for KW in the Ohio Valley Region. In addition to these roles, he also operated as a coach and consultant for other real estate agents and teams around the country.
In 2023, Chris joined Merrill Property Group as Project Manager with a focus on developing systems and processes for the team. MPG has a knowledgeable group of brokers, a great set of core values, and a lot of opportunities to make an impact both locally and nationally.
“Joining MPG was a great opportunity for me. I get to learn the nuances of commercial real estate while utilizing the operational skills I’ve gained over the years to help the team organize and grow.”
